The Adani Supplier Roadshow has wrapped up a five-event tour of regional Queensland, with nearly 1,300 regional business owners and suppliers meeting the key project team from both Adani and the mine construction and operations contractor, Downer Group.

At a sold-out Moranbah luncheon last week, Bowen Basin Mining Club members were offered a timely insight into BHP Billiton’s global focus on production efficiencies and changing supply management practices.

As companies begin submitting their entries into the Queensland Mining Contractor Awards (QMCA), the Bowen Basin Mining club has encouraged businesses to make the most of support offered by one of its official event partners.

Submissions for the Queensland Mining Contractor Awards open today, with entries welcomed across innovation, cost and time saving, product development, engagement and equal opportunity categories.
