Resolute Mining forks out further $50 million to Mali for detained employees
The miner's top boss Terence Holohan and two other employees were released by Mali government, the company said in a statement on Nov. 21.
It could either be a sign that gold has reached a top or it still has further to run: Lego introduced a mining-themed set this spring focused on gold production.
Sets 4200 through to 4204 feature excavators, mining trucks and even a complete mining operation with tiny gold Lego ore.
