(Wednesday 11th June, 2008) Duratread announces the appointment of Mendelson Baquero Parga to the position of Sales and Technical Representative for Duratread in Colombia.
Duratread Mining Tires, launched in 2006, have achieved significant success with major mining companies throughout Latin America due to their good performance, coupled with on the ground, local support via their team of OTR Tire experts.
Duratread are currently recruiting experienced OTR and Mining Tire professionals to provide additional on-the-ground customer support.
Openings exist in the principle mining regions of South and Central America and as Duratread commences its expansion into other parts of the world, it is also currently seeking Mining and OTR tire professionals in Central and East Africa.
Mendelson brings to Duratread sales and specialist technical knowledge of OTR and Mining Tires with over 25 years experience in the Tire business including Bridgestone OTR and Yokohama. He has worked in both Colombia and Bolivia. Mendelson will be directly responsible for sales and technical support in Colombia in addition to special mining projects in the region.
