Copper rises on US housing data, China demand hopes

Heeren, the current CEO of Anglo American in Peru, will start his new role on February 1, 2025.

The joint venture will buy and sell copper domestically and for export, and over time will take responsibility for trading Zambia’s share of copper output from mines.

Canadian companies dabbling in these minerals include Teck Resources, Neo Performance Materials and Northern Graphite.

The company will accelerate its lithium mine project to ensure first commercial output in 2027.
