While lithium giants like SQM and Albemarle tangle with one another over scarce lithium brines and water, a beautiful lithium mine in Nevada’s Clayton Valley is taking shape.
The company says its technology is capable of extracting lithium and other elements very quickly from petrolithium and other brine sources, reducing the physical footprint of large, multi-phase, lake-sized, lined evaporation ponds.
EY’s Canadian Mining Eye index — which tracks the performance of 100 Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange mid-tier and junior mining companies — dropped 12 percent in the third quarter of the year when compared to the previous three-month period.
