Victoria Gold’s H2 2020 production exceeds guidance

The Toronto-based miner reported that the updated resource estimate has resulted in the addition of approximately 38,000 gold ounces in the Inferred category.

The campaign was carried out at the Burfjord project, located near Kåfjord, in northeastern Norway.

On the positive side, the Andean country's iron ore production grew by 66.8% when compared to the previous year.

Based on the improved outlook for Fosterville, the Toronto-based miner now anticipates that its full-year 2018 consolidated production will exceed the current target range of 655,000 – 670,000 ounces.

Up to 900 jobs will be eliminated.

Albuquerque, 60, will tackle offshore oil licensing rounds and planned energy privatizations.

By market close on Friday, Aurania Resources' stock was up 6%. 

Commissioning of the plant began in Q3 2018, and it is now treating existing tailings around the clock.

The company plans to use the proceeds for the exploration and development of the Las Chispas silver-gold project in Mexico.
