Serbia eyes billions of euros for power production by 2040
Country plans to invest a total of 6 billion euros in new capacities for electricity production by 2040 as it seeks to phase out coal-fired power plants.
Decision gives 18 months more than planned to the operation, which would result in additional production of 470 million pounds of zinc and 52 million pounds of copper during that period.
