BHP sees Chile uncertainties easing in investment climate boost
BHP, which operates the world’s biggest copper mine in Chile, has dangled $10 billion to develop more resources in the country if those uncertainties are finally resolved.
As world economies shift to more electrification and away from fossil fuels to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, expect more copper mining and interest in metals like cobalt and nickel.
In late January Adriatic was granted an exploitation permit for its Veovaca project near Vares in Bosnia-Herzegovina, 50 km north of the capital, Sarajevo.
