Europe-focused Lundin Mining has cut a deal for an 80% stake in a copper mine in northern Spain.

The price is up more than 27% from lows struck in October last year when the steelmaking ingredient experienced a mini crash.

Peruvian company Grupo Brescia announced today that it is going ahead with plans to further diversify its investments by mining for copper in neighbouring Chile, reports Portal Minero.
