The partnership among the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration (SME) and EduMine — a leading provider of online training and education to the mining industry — keeps getting stronger.
Following an agreement signed last year to offer premier online professional development to those who belong to such well-know associations, the three partners are now allowing members to access a vast arrange of peer-reviewed courses via the respective Campus, at membership enrollment prices.
Currently, there are 22 premium online courses on a broad range of topics such as geostatistics, permitting, and mineral processing offered to both CIM and SME members.
The courses, which qualify for institutional certification, are expected to help raise the quality of education, training, and professional development for the mining industry presently available online.
