China TV reports gold sales ‘going through the roof’ and shortages for fabricators

A sector that was once racing to build new supply has been closing mines and deferring projects as low prices bite into the cost curve.

Gold’s outlook and fundamentals remain really bullish.

Around 60 Chinese nationals were at the site and officials detained 17 who appeared to be in charge.
