PEORIA, Ill. – Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) will conduct its 2009 annual meeting of stockholders on Wednesday, June 10, at 1:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time, at the Northern Trust Building, 50 South LaSalle Street, Chicago, Illinois. Meeting details, agenda and the procedure for admission will be included in the company’s 2009 annual meeting proxy statement, which will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on or about April 21, 2009, and distributed or made available the first week in May to stockholders of record as of April 13, 2009.
