Chile's world-leading copper industry could see some of its mines put out of business if an early stage bill to protect glaciers continues its march through Congress.

The miner produced 12.3 million carats in the first nine months of 2020, down 29% from the same period in 2019.

The Canadian company has completed the permitting process before the Bureau of Land Management.

In the quarter, the company sold 134,817 gold-equivalent oz. (GEO), at cash costs of $290 per GEO.
