Ausenco Engineering won the contract for a 5.5 million-tonne-a-year processing plant and related infrastructure at the Blackwater gold project in central B.C.

Final design and engineering of the commercial in-situ production facility and the procurement of other critical components is underway.

The project will be carried out at Gara Djebilet iron mine, in the southern province of Tindouf.

Total proven and probable reserves are now 18.6 million tonnes grading 2.89 g/t Au, 7.73 g/t Ag and 0.84% Cu.
