Lithium Energy and Hanaq Group want to find new lithium deposits in the Olaroz-Cauchari endorheic basin, located in Argentina’s northwestern Jujuy province.
The property now has indicated resources of 579 million tonnes grading 0.47% copper, 0.03% molybdenum and 0.05 gram gold per tonne for 2.7 million tonnes of copper, 150.000tonnes of molybdenum and 930,000 oz. of gold.
As the world transitions away from fossil fuels to electrified transportation systems and energy networks, new deposits of the minerals required for a low-carbon future will need to be discovered and developed.
