A bit over a week since Apple launched its latest smart phone version, London jeweller Gold & Co. is hitting the market with a 24-karat gold-plated iPhone 5 that “only” costs $4,380 (£2,695).
The jewellery store claims this is the world’s first gold-plated iPhone 5, which also features a home button and rear Apple logo encrusted in individually set crystals. Each device, says the company, has been individually numbered to ensure exclusivity.
When purchased, this 64 GB iPhone will be delivered in an elegant hardwood box with a certificate of authenticity.
The store will also be selling rose gold-plated iPhone 5s.
