Minasco Australia has been appointed by Perth based miner, Bass Metals Ltd, for the realisation of their complete 1.5MTPA poly-metallic flotation plant facility at Hellyer mine site in NW Tasmania. The plant is to be offered for sale as a fully engineered operational entity for relocation to a new project, due to completion of mining at Hellyer.

With a current shortage in offering of quality mineral processing plants worldwide and the rise in the number of projects set for development, it is expected there will be strong competition for the acquisition of the Hellyer assets with a number of projects already expressing interest. The plant is in good condition and still fully operational, with anticipated completion of processing during June 2012. This will provide potential buyers an opportunity to inspect the plant running.
