Aim is to help mining exploration companies precision-target deposits beneath the Earth's surface in a way that changes the economics of discovery and increases the sustainable production.
"Mining companies can request extensions and modifications to their permits to explore and exploit in strict adherence to current regulations," the government said in a tweet.
