The collapse of a leach tank at Australia’s Ranger uranium mine, operated by Rio’s subsidiary Energy Resources of Australia, was the second such incident for the mining giant in less than a week.
The legislation could have enabled Canada's Gabriel Resources to proceed with plans to build Rosia Montana mine, Europe's largest open cast gold operation.
