All 19 trapped Polish miners rescued after earthquake

All 19 trapped miners in the Rudna copper mine in Silesia, Poland have been rescued.

An earthquake late Tuesday night caused the mine to cave in, trapping the miners 600 metres underground.

After a seven hour search, the rescue team reached the stranded miners by tunneling through the collapsed rock. The men are now going for medical check-ups and are being welcomed back by their relieved loved ones.
