WGC senior market strategist sees several trigger points that could prompt gold to move even higher, perhaps stirring more interest from retail investors.
As we finish off the Nordic technology and mining features for IM November, news comes from technology provider Alimak Hek, which is carrying out work for Boliden’s Aitik copper mine expansion near Gällivare in northern Sweden. Alimak’s contract, which is part of the mining company’s SEK 6 billion investment, will provide seven rack and pinion-driven lifts for the operation. These will facilitate the maintenance and inspection of different applications such as crushing, grinding, flotation and de-watering.
