Firebird Metals farms out early-stage manganese projects in Australia
Macro Metals will take over work at the Wandanya, Disraeli and Midgengadge manganese projects located in the Eastern Pilbara region.
The International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) taking place in Melbourne next is set to exceed industry expectations having confirmed more than 3,500 people to attend – a 40 per cent increase on last year’s attendance.
IMARC General Manager — Asia Pacific Anita Richards said the surge in delegate numbers was a testament to the 2017 programme and the growing international reputation of the conference.
“IMARC is now clearly the largest mining and resources event in Australia,” Ms Richards said.
“Last year’s IMARC saw us play host to more than 2,500 delegates from more than 50 countries.
“This year more than 3,500 delegates will attend from 77 countries.
“There is truly no other event in Australia that allows mining professionals to network and engage with so many colleagues in one place — and connect with decision makers from so many different nations.”
Over four days, attendees can expect to hear from over 180 speakers discussing mining excellence, mining infrastructure, mining investment, technology innovation and optimisation, social responsibility and future energy and enjoy over 45 hours of networking opportunities including the flagship gala dinner with headlining speaker Mick Wilkes of OceanaGold.
Furthermore over 100 leading companies will showcase the latest innovations, technology and equipment the industry has on offer within the free exhibition that runs concurrent to the conference.
The International Mining and Resources Conference will run from 30 October to 2 November 2017 with the free exhibition running from 31 November to 2 November.
