Germany Chancellor plans lithium deal with Serbia after Rio ruling
Olaf Scholz plans to visit Serbia this week to secure supplies of lithium that are critical for the nation’s energy transition and auto industry.
The largest D flawless heart-shaped diamond was sold on Wednesday in Geneva for $14.9 million.
The gem, which is called La Légende and was created by Boehmer et Bassenge, broke a world record in its category.
According to auction house Christie’s, the 92-carat diamond forms the centerpiece of a necklace of cultured pearls.
It was the top-selling item at the firm’s Magnificent Jewels sale, which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues and achieved $94.5 million.
The previous record for a diamond of this kind was set in 2011 when a 56.15-carat rock sold for $10.9 million.

I see the jewel is wider in comparison to height. May be Boehmer wanted to keep more carats intact.
Still a D/FL at 92 carats is magnificiant.
