The Chinese mining operator XinJiang TianChi Energy Co. has placed an order with thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions to supply four RollSizers for the secondary crushing of coal. XinJiang TianChi operates a number of coal mines in the XinJiang region and opted for RollSizers with 2×315 kW drive power and throughputs of up to 2,000 tons per hour. The four DRS 660 x 3700 S RollSizers from thyssenkrupp’s recently established standard machine line are designed as SideSizers and crush coal with a feed size of up to 300 mm to a finished product size of 50 mm. The processed coal will mainly be used for power generation and heating.

In its recently launched standard machine business thyssenkrupp has already been able to secure several new contracts in different regions, including orders for another four RollSizers from Chinese customers. “With these projects, we have acquired a strong position on the Chinese RollSizer market – which offers great potential for us – in a short space of time,” explains Armin Greune. The standard machines product portfolio is continuously expanding and already covers a wide range of crushers (jaw, cone, horizontal and vertical shaft impactors), RollSizers (Side and CenterSizers), ring granulators and circular or linear vibrating screens.
