Students going for gold at the Goodman Gold Challenge

Sudbury, ON (February 10, 2017) – Six student teams from Ontario, Quebec, and the United States are entering the final round of the ”Goodman Gold Challenge” – a new mining investment competition for undergraduate students.

The GGC provides students real-world experience while putting their academic knowledge to the test. Teams must interview three gold mining company CEOs, and after thorough analysis, determine which company they would recommend for their top-tier clients’ portfolio.

The winning team will be awarded shares worth the equivalent of four ounces of gold in the mining company they recommend as an investment.

WHEN: From Thursday, February 23rd, 2017 to Saturday, February 25th, 2017

WHERE: Final Round of Student Presentations at Laurentian University, Saturday, February 25th, 2017 at 1:00pm and the Awards Gala at the Vale Cavern, Science North at 6:30pm
