China Moly’s No.3 Company recently signed a two-year Protective Services agreement for a Sandvik CH895 cone crusher. China Moly had been experiencing performance and reliability issues with one of its crushers and Sandvik local and global experts performed a plant audit. The audit team identified a number of operational and maintenance issues and came up with recommendations to remedy the problem. As a result, the customer achieved an increase of over 50 percent in crushing chamber service life through improvements to the tramp metal detection process and improved maintenance procedures. At the same time productivity increased more than 10 percent due to increased uptime and optimized crusher performance. Pleased with these results, China Moly’s No.3 Company also decided to enter into the Protective Services agreement in order to continue to safeguard optimal process performance.
Our comprehensive service portfolio covers all of the major processes needed to keep customers’ production running around the clock. It maximizes their machine availability and protects their business from unexpected risks. Our four proactive service programs cover the entire lifecycle of a customer’s crushing and screening plant, from pre-commissioning and ramp-up to full operation.
Ramp-up Services provide quicker ramp-up, which means quicker profits. Our Ramp-Up Services program provides customers with the fastest possible time to get production up and running, adding two to five weeks of additional production compared to a “do it alone” approach.
With Condition Inspection Services, customers receive a condition inspection from a certified Sandvik service engineer, and gain at least one day of production by minimizing unexpected breakdowns and having the necessary parts on site.
Maintenance Planning Services ensure proper planning and help to prevent downtime. Customers can gain seven to 10 days of production instead of having to wait for parts (spares and/or wears). The program includes Condition Inspection Services and parts planning, maintenance planning and training.
Protective Services is a complete equipment insurance package designed for complete peace of mind and risk-controlled operation. Customers can gain seven to 10 days of production and receive 80 percent coverage of capital spare parts. The program includes Maintenance Planning Services and insurance on capital parts and process optimization.
