Microsoft invests in Ontario-based rare earths recycling company
Cyclic has developed a patent-pending technology called CC360 to address the challenge of recovering rare earths contained in end-of-life hard drives.
With the help of rare earth magnets, opening a safe can take just seconds. At least that is what Terry Whin-Yates of Mr. Locksmith demonstrated recently at a business meeting in Vancouver, Canada.
He showed that, using a rare earth magnet, one can exploit the nickel piece in this Sentry Electronic Safe to get it open without any damage.
The sock is actually just there so they can pull the magnet off the safe.
