The miner's top boss Terence Holohan and two other employees were released by Mali government, the company said in a statement on Nov. 21.

The partnership with Ajlan & Bros, an investment holding company with more than $15 billion in assets under management, includes a $4 million feasibility study split 50:50.

The contract includes $25 million in advance royalty payments to the government split into four stages.

The pour took place on Wednesday, following approval of Phase 1 commissioning of the Nalunaq processing plant by the Greenlandic government.
