B.C. mining industry posts record results in 2008, report shows
Canadian Business (May 5, 2009) - British Columbia's mining industry posted a record profit of $3.2 billion in 2008, an 88 per cent increase from the previous year driven largely by high-priced coal, a report released Tuesday shows.
