Lloyd’s Register Energy wins 2014 British Quality Foundation’s Award for Employee Engagement

Lloyd’s Register Energy has won one of the most prestigious industry awards for its global employee collaboration and knowledge sharing programme – called Global Energy Transformation (GET).

“We believe that harnessing and sharing the expertise and talent which exists within our business is a fundamental way in how we enhance the service and support we provide to our clients,” said John Wishart, Director of Lloyd’s Register Energy. “The award-winning GET programme has driven positive change inside and outside of our business.”

Through its employee engagement programme, Lloyd’s Register Energy has created limitless opportunities for knowledge sharing, collaboration and growth – for its business and for its people.

“We are proud of the fact that our approach has just been recognised by the British Quality Foundation as an illustration of true excellence in driving employee engagement – so we would like to say thank you to all our employees and clients who helped us achieve this.”

The company is known globally for its technical capability spanning 254 years, and today provides the confidence to operators in the energy industry that their people, plant and processes perform as intended, safely and consistently – helping to safeguard the reputations of oil and gas, nuclear and renewable companies worldwide.

Ian Stokes, Chief Executive of the British Quality Foundation, said: “Winning an Achievement Award is a tremendous result for any organisation. Lloyd’s Register Energy impressed the independent judging panel with its commitment to engaging with its employees at every opportunity.”

Lloyd’s Register Energy’s GET programme is just one example of how the company enables its employees to achieve their full potential, for their own empowerment and for the benefit of the company’s clients and the energy industry as a whole.
