RungePincockMinarco (RPM) is a lead sponsor at the largest SAP event for mining customers globally, the international SAP Mining and Metals Forum this week.
Speaking at the 300-plus delegate event will be RPM’s CEO, Mr. Richard Mathews. Mr. Mathews presentation, “How the Gaming World is driving a Productivity Transformation in Mining” is set to challenge conventional thinking and detail how gaming technologies are delivering the platform for productivity transformation.
“Critical to long term growth and productivity in mining is a strong link between mine planning and execution. Ultra Short Term planning is fast becoming the key to unlocking productivity gains within an operation. Until today, this space has been dominated by a manual handover between traditional planning applications and the execution systems they feed”, comments Mr. Mathews.
“As the industry looks to the next generation of planning tools to improve operational performance, my presentation at the forum will unveil some exciting advances we’re working on in this space”.
Speaking on the event itself, Mr. Mathews notes that this is one of the biggest events on the annual calendar for RPM and the company is delighted to have been selected as a lead sponsor by SAP.
“We are very much looking forward to joining the world’s leading mining and metals executives at this extraordinary event for 2 days of customer focused sessions and informative discussions on our enterprise mine planning solutions”.
“We have been working closely with SAP to build and grow our partnership significantly in the past 2 years. This event is an important part of this and enables us to share our fresh thinking and innovative solutions with the world’s biggest miners to help them overcome the challenges presented in the modern mining industry”.
RPM also recently announced their entry into SAP’s PartnerEdge program which enables RPM to obtain SAP Application Review and Integration Certification of its integrated software offering with SAP’s technology platforms. For an SAP customer, the SAP certification logo is the strongest proof of the technical alignment of a partner’s solution with SAP solutions.
Eckhardt Siess, Global Vice President IBU Mill Products & Mining for SAP commented, “RPM is a very advanced solution provider when it comes to enterprise mine planning software and together with them, we are delivering unsurpassed value to clients. Our people on the ground are working closely with RPM’s development teams to further advance our complimentary offerings and we are excited about this next step”.
RPM will be a booth S2 in the exhibition area at the SAP Mining and Metals Forum. The Forum runs from the 8th – 9th October in Darmstadt, Germany.
