USGS releases first study to assess global earthquake risk to mineral supplies
Earthquakes have the potential to substantially affect mining operations, leading to supply chain disruptions that adversely affect the global economy.
Zoetermeer, 11 July, 2014– LG Sound is the proud winner of the WssTP Water Innovation SME awards which was announced during the Water Innovation Europe 2014 conference in Brussels.
We are honored to receive this award for the successful development and commercialization of the MPC-Buoy, which provides a unique solution for algae control by combining continuous water quality monitoring, telemetering and ultrasound technology.
The WssTP innovation and technology board selected several SME’s whose innovations were identified as best practices with a high market potential in their field of application. The innovations were evaluated on basis of their innovativeness, market potential and exploitation strategy.
At this moment, the MPC-Buoy is successfully installed in lakes in Poland, the UK, the USA, Canada and Ireland. The MPC-Buoy is proven to be effective in lakes, ponds, dams and other applications.
