Detour Gold ends frustrating year with glimmer of better grade

Spot gold was little changed at $2,649.27 an ounce as of 8:21 a.m. Singapore time, after closing 0.2% higher on Wednesday.

The property surrounds its Pueblo Viejo mine in the Dominican Republic.

The drill holes targeted the Dike Corridor, one of five main subparallel, near-vertical gold zones that make up the large 2.5-km-long deposit.

The results are from five operating drill rigs, part of Collective’s 40,000-metre program for this year.
