“In the September auction in Moerdijk, Ritchie Bros. will sell several well-maintained trucks and other items on our behalf,” said Luc Aertssen, Owner of Aertssen Transport NV. “We’ve frequently sold equipment and trucks with Ritchie Bros. over the years because their auctions attract a lot of on-site and online bidders from the international market. An unreserved Ritchie Bros. auction is a powerful selling channel, as the demand for the items we’re selling could be close to home or in markets far abroad. Our trucks, in particular, have international bidding potential because of their brand and specifications. Either way, it gives us the certainty that our items are sold to the highest bidders on the auction day. Whenever we’re adjusting our fleet, we can always find a way to partner up with Ritchie Bros.”

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers sell a selection of industrial equipment items and trucks at its first unreserved public auction in Finland on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Currently, more than 250 equipment items and trucks have been consigned for the unreserved auction taking place in Tampere, including a range of used and unused hydraulic excavators, dump trucks, wheel loaders, crushers, drills, truck tractors and many more items.
“We’re very excited to hold our first ever auction in Finland,” said Jorma Karjalainen, Territory Manager, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. “For many years, people from Finland, as well as Sweden, Norway and Denmark, have been selling and buying equipment at our auctions around the world and in particular at our auction site in Moerdijk, The Netherlands. It is a good time to bring our unreserved auction services closer to our Scandinavian customers and help people exchange industrial equipment and trucks with confidence. People interested in buying equipment have a selection of good quality items and trucks to choose from at our upcoming auction in Tampere. Anyone can register for the auction and become a successful bidder on September 25.”
