$2,000 Scholarship to be awarded at SME 2014, sponsored by Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies

CARY, North Carolina, August, 2013 – Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies is sponsoring a $2,000 scholarship at the Society of Mining, Metallurgy, & Exploration (SME) 2014 Annual Meeting & Exhibit in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Scholarship is in addition to the scholarships that SME offers.

Veolia has dedicated experts worldwide that specialize in mine water applications. One specific criterion for the Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Scholarship is that the applicants show an interest to pursue a career in water-related matters within the mining industry. Scholarship applications and full criteria can be found on the SME website. The recipient of the Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Scholarship will be recognized during the SME Environmental Division luncheon at the SME Annual Meeting and Exhibit. Submissions are due by the end of business on Friday, November 1st, 2013.
