Auctioneers (NYSE and TSX: RBA), the world’s largest industrial auctioneer, will conduct a two-day heavy equipment and real estate auction in Edmonton, AB on September 4 – 5, 2013. The auction features more than 4,275 equipment items and trucks, as well as a unique opportunity to purchase premium real estate by unreserved auction—with every item in the auction, including real estate, being sold with no minimum bids or reserve prices. Available real estate includes four residential home sites on Kootenay Lake, near Creston, BC; a country residential acreage also in Creston; and a 6.8±-acre sport fishing lodge in Sandspit, BC. “With more than 4,275 heavy equipment items and trucks already consigned, and a great selection of premium real estate, this auction will certainly have something for everyone,” said Jim Rotlisberger, Regional Sales Manager, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. “It’s not every day that a sport fishing lodge goes up for sale—let alone one being sold by unreserved public auction where anyone can bid—this is a very unique opportunity. In this auction we also have a great selection of cranes, as well as earthmoving, forestry and transportation equipment.”
