The consultancy prepared an interactive report that counted down 12 disruptive technologies with four having clear implications for the resource sector.
Autonomous or near-autonomous vehicles was ranked sixth overall on the list.
The next three that would impact mining were energy storage, advanced materials, and advanced oil and gas exploration and recovery.
Renewable energy was ranked last on the list.
