Mining’s technical experts at CIM to talk cutting-edge product plans

TORONTO, CANADA (May 2, 2013) – RungePincockMinarco (RPM) will continue its support of Canada’s premier mining events at the CIM 2013 Convention in Toronto next week with their innovative product roadmaps top of the agenda.

2013 has already been busy for RPM, with six products launched so far. RPM’s Canadian team will be at the convention to showcase the new products.

RPM will also be previewing some of its soon-to-be released products and solutions in the mine scheduling and financial modeling space.

“Some of our latest products plus those that our Canadian clients know and trust such as XPAC and XERAS will be on display at the convention,” said Don Arsenault, Vice President of RPM’s Canadian operations.

RPM’s latest releases are focused on streamlining the interaction between its well-known scheduling software and other leading mine planning packages.

Mr. Arsenault says that this enables engineers to spend more time planning the mine and analyzing the impact of different scenarios, and less time learning the software.

“New software like BLOCK AGG helps to bridge the gap between geological modeling packages and our scheduling software XPAC.

“Mining engineers can get to the task of optimizing production more quickly by not having to spend time understanding and manipulating complicated scripts. They can be confident in their models and can easily create schedules within hours rather than days.

“BLOCK AGG is just one example of our recent innovations and I am looking forward to sharing them all with the convention delegates next week.”

RPM’s expert team will be on hand at booth 1226 to meet with delegates to discuss RPM’s leading-edge software as well as its advisory consulting and professional development solutions. The CIM 2013 Convention runs from 5-8 May at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
