A fraught election just reshaped the next steps for deep sea mining
Brazilian oceanographer Leticia Carvalho has been elected the next secretary-general of the ISA, a leadership change that could slow the rush to strip-mine deep sea ecosystems.
Atlas Electric Inc and Atlas Electrical Sales ULC have a brand new manufacturing facility with over 16, 000 sq ft. We also have a large warehouse facility on our adjacent property of over 5 acres of storage that houses one of the largest in stock inventory of new, used, and reconditioned electrical equipment.
What does this mean for the global mining community?
This allows Atlas to increase production load and project size, while reducing lead times on our New OEM (Custom Engineered) and reconditioned products. This facility has a larger testing area to ensure excellent quality assurance of all our tested equipment. Our large inventory warehouse also allows Atlas to provide equipment right away for rush or emergency situations to our customers.
