Mining4Life Raised $2.7M with Texas Hold’em Poker Evening at PDAC

As reported on forbes.com, a poker evening at PDAC in March in Toronto raised $2.7M for Mining4Life. The money goes to the SickKids Foundation, SickKids International (SKI) and BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

 

The Mining4Life Charity Challenge raised $2.7 million at a fundraiser this year which will be put towards helping fund children’s health care, research and education programs around the world.

Having completed its fourth annual Texas Hold ‘em poker tournament fundraiser in Toronto, which welcomes between 60 and 80 companies ranging from mining companies, banks, law, engineering and accounting firms, the charity has now raised over $11.26 million since its inception.
