BRISBANE, Australia (March 20, 2013) – Hot on the heels of launching three new mining software products this calendar year, RungePincockMinarco (RPM) continues its assertion as a global leader in mining software with the launch of a fourth new product, COAL SEAM AGGREGATION (COAL SEAM AGG).
While similar to the functionality of the recently released BLOCK AGGREGATION for open pit metals mines, COAL SEAM AGGbridges geology and engineering by preparing geological models of open cut coal mines for scheduling in RPM’s flagship production forecasting tool, XPAC.
RPM’s Product Manager – Mine PlanningAlun Philips commented, “COAL SEAM AGG allows users to move from geological models to scheduling options and production forecasts faster than ever before.”
“It significantly speeds up the process of incorporating updated geological data in your coal mine’s plan.”
Mr. Philips highlighted the ease of use of the software, noting, “One of RPM’s key development objectives is to allow users to spend less time learning the software and more time planning their mine.”
“With COAL SEAM AGG’s usability and inbuilt mining intelligence, we have achieved this goal.”
COAL SEAM AGG is available for technical demonstrations now.
