Gold loves chaos and should be hitting new highs, especially with inflation coming down and with it, two rate cuts likely before year’s end.
Rumour has it that some major U.S. asset managers prefer to hold gold outside the country for fear of confiscation in an echo of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s 1933 decree.
While analysts interviewed by MINING.com think such a move is very unlikely, historical precedence does exist.
