BHP posts second straight year of record iron ore production, beats estimates
The world's largest listed miner said iron ore output from Western Australia on a 100% basis was 76.8 million tonnes in the three months to June 30.
EVRAZ hopes to sell the Yubileinaya coal mine, operated by its subsidiary Yuzhkuzbassugol, in the first quarter of this year, a source from the company said.
The Yubileinaya mine, which survived a deadly methanol explosion in 2007, will be sold to TopProm, which has already received antitrust clearance for the transaction.
