Mexico’s proposed higher mining royalties could block nearly $7bn in investments
The Mexican government proposed raising mining royalties under the argument that metal prices have risen in recent years.
Veteran technical analyst Ron Rosen predicts that precious metals will flourish in 2013 at the expense of an ailing stock market.
Writing for King World News Rosen says that patterns in the movements of the stock, gold and silver markets since 1913 would indicate that a bear market for securities will provide a major boost to precious metals within the next twelve months.
According to Rosen, who has been observing the market for over half a century, these complex technical patterns hold water under current circumstances, as the USA’s economic and financial system has remained consistent for the past century since just prior to the start of the First World War.
