Brixton Metals teams up with Eldorado on Atlin Goldfields project
Located 9 km east of the town of Atlin, British Columbia, the property comprises a 579-square-kilometre claim group.
Western Canada’s Vancouver, Victoria, Smithers and Prince George areas are expected to be the main stage for rallies against oil and gas pipelines, as part of national and international actions spearheaded by the Unis’tot’en clan of the Wet’suwet’en Nation in British Columbia.
In a statement released Monday, the Unis’tot’en said 13 protests are being planned for tomorrow across Canada, as well as in California and Trinidad and Tobago.
The group is widely known for its opposition to Enbridge Inc.’s (TSX:ENB) proposed $5.5-billion Northern Gateway pipeline and any other pipelines slated to cross their territories.
In October, thousands jammed the front lawn of Canada’s British Columbian parliament on to oppose Enbridge’s pipeline from the Alberta oil sands to the country’s West Coast.
