Santacruz Silver Mining reports fatality at Tres Amigos mine in Bolivia
Tres Amigos mine, a part of the Caballo Blanco Group of mines, has resumed operations after it was shut down following the incident.
Codelco estimates that copper production at the Gaby mine in Chile will reach 139,000 tons in 2012 and 150,000 tons in 2013.
The company is currently carrying out exploration activities in the mine that will provide insight so that the company can decided to either increase production to 200,000 tons per year or extend the useful life of the mine originally estimated for 2024.
