BHP bets billions on Chile mines to face global copper crunch
BHP detailed to investors this week plans to spend $10.7 billion to $14.7 billion within about 10 years.
Exports of refined copper from Russia increased by 93.5% YoY in January-September 2012 to 204,900 metric tons, the Ministry of Economic Development has reported.
September copper exports fell by 2.4% YoY.
Exports of copper wire declined in 9M 2012 by 3% YoY to 274,200 metric tons.
