Sponsored by Export Development Canada, the STEP Exporter of the Year Award recognizes excellence in the company’s achievements and their success in tackling export markets. The award was presented to Norseman Structures on September 26, 2012 at the STEP Trade Conference held in Saskatoon.
The finalists for the award were reviewed by a selection committee of Saskatchewan business leaders. According to STEP President and CEO, Lionel LaBelle, the committee was focused on companies displaying a “high level of performance in introducing new products and services into world markets, significantly increasing their export sales, achieving a high ratio of export sales to total sales, and an ability to create a positive impact on the provincial economy through job creation”. Norseman Structures would also like to congratulate the three Exporter of the Year Finalists including Schulte Industries Ltd.; The Saskatoon Colostrum Company Ltd.; and TinyEye Technologies Corporation.
