Could Trump’s deregulation quest speed permitting in Canada too?
Rolling back environmental regulations and speeding up permitting for oil and gas as well as mining projects could put pressure on Canada to do the same.
According to a Zimbabwe Platinum (Zimplats) statement, the company currently has at least USD 33.8 million in tax liabilities.
In the fourth quarter ended June 30, Zimplats paid USD 23 million in direct and employee taxes.
Zimplats is a subsidiary of Impala Platinum and produced 182,100 ounces of platinum in FY 2012.
