SGS announced its Minerals laboratory in Ankara, Turkey has successfully achieved certification to ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001. ISO 9001:2008 certification indicates conformance to the requirements of the Quality Management Standard for Quality Management Systems.
The OHSAS 18001 certification measures conformance to the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series for Health and Safety Management Systems.
The new 11’000 square foot facility is set up to provide geochemical and trade analysis related to chrome and manganese ores and forms a key part of our global geochemistry expansion program and our unmatched global network of laboratories. This certification to ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001 demonstrates SGS’ commitment to quality and health and safety management.
The Ankara laboratory joins SGS extensive network of accredited laboratories.
